Sarah Michelle Gellar, born April 14, 1977, began her acting career at age four with a role in 'An Invasion of Privacy' (1983). She gained prominence playing Kendall Hart on 'All My Children' (1993–1995), winning a Daytime Emmy Award. Gellar rose to international fame portraying Buffy Summers on 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' (1997–2003), earning several awards and nominations. Her notable film roles include 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' (1997), 'Scream 2' (1997), 'Cruel Intentions' (1999), 'Scooby-Doo' (2002), and 'The Grudge' (2004). Since becoming a mother, she has appeared in fewer roles but has had lead parts in series like 'Ringer' (2011–2012) and 'The Crazy Ones' (2013–2014).
