Story
Carolina Rambaldi leaves her property to the first of her children who gets married and has a child within 18 months. Her children - Marcello (lazy), Lucrezia (bossy TV producer), and Cesare (homosexual sociologist) - react differently to this news. Marcello marries Marina, a dangerous killer, hoping to inherit. Marina becomes pregnant but suffers a miscarriage. She discovers a clinic in Germany that performs embryo transplants for sterile women. Marina convinces her twin sister Angela to take her place while she travels to Germany for the operation. However, Cesare finds out about this plan and causes an explosion on the plane Marina is traveling on. Consequently, Angela goes to Germany to have the transplant instead.
