Helena Bonham Carter CBE, born May 26, 1966, rose to prominence playing Lucy Honeychurch in 'A Room with a View' (1985) and Lady Jane Grey in 'Lady Jane' (1986). She is known for her roles in period dramas and being typecast as an 'English rose', which she found uncomfortable. Notable films include 'The Wings of the Dove' (1997), where she played Kate Croy, earning an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress; 'Hamlet' (1990); 'Howards End' (1992); and 'The King's Speech' (2010) as Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, winning a BAFTA award. She also starred in the Harry Potter series (2007-2011). Bonham Carter has collaborated with Tim Burton on several films, including 'Big Fish' (2003), 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' (2005), and 'Alice in Wonderland' (2010). Neil is at his bachelor party when Pandora, a stripper, performs her dance. His mates put him on a train as a prank, but unbeknownst to them, Pandora ends up on the same train. When Neil awakes, he finds Pandora there and realizes that they've missed their stop. They are left stranded in a seaside town in Northern England. Neil is anxious about his impending wedding day being ruined while Pandora seems content to enjoy the carnival rides. Together, they spend the day trying to find a way back to their original destination.
'Dancing Queen' (1993) is one of three hour-long dramas Rik Mayall did for ITV during that summer. The movie centers around Neil, whose bachelor party goes awry when he ends up on an unexpected train journey with Pandora, a stripper who performs Abba's 'Dancing Queen.'
