Taimie Hannum, born Mary Lynn Hannum on October 15, 1968, in Fort Polk, Louisiana, USA, moved to Mesa, Arizona after birth and later settled in Los Angeles. She was a dancer from an early age, studying ballet, tap, gymnastics, and hula before joining the Phoenix Jazz Company. After graduating high school, she studied drama and became a teacher's aide due to her advanced courses. In 1990, she moved to LA where she worked at The Hollywood Tropicana. She then modeled in Japan and briefly lived in New York before returning to LA. Taimie began acting after taking classes and has appeared in films like 'Pleasurecraft' (1999), 'Burning Desires' (2002), and 'Timegate: Tales of the Saddle Tramps' (1999).
