Career Highlights:
"Iulia Verdes, a young Romanian actress, gained attention when she was cast as The Girl in the 2008 film Elevator at just 18 years old. With no formal training beyond high school productions, her performance earned rave reviews, prompting her to pursue acting further. She went on to earn both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in acting from the National University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest.
While studying, Iulia participated in various stage productions and short films. Upon graduation, she secured a regular role as Tina in the Romanian TV series Pariu cu viata (Bet With Life) in 2013. Her international breakthrough came with her role as a party girl in Terry Gilliam's multi-country film project The Zero Theorem, shot in Bucharest alongside an impressive cast including Christoph Waltz, Gwendoline Christie, Rupert Friend, Matt Damon, Lucas Hedges, and Tilda Swinton.
Iulia also landed leading roles in the American films A Good Man (2014), starring Steven Seagal, and Brancusi from Eternity (2014), where she played Martha, an artist's muse who poses naked. Although the nudity is tasteful, with only brief glimpses of side boob and side butt, it adds depth to her character."
