Story
Douglas Elmore, an alcoholic writer and caretaker haunted by visions of his dead wife, finds himself living in a supernatural nightmare when tenants start turning up dead in his brownstone apartment building. Suspicion falls on Karna, a sexually alluring homeless prostitute who inhabits the basement during the day but prowls the city at night.
