She began acting professionally before graduating high school, signing with Otto Preminger. Trained at LAMDA and American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Cattrall's Broadway credits include 'The Cryptogram' alongside Sir Ian McKellen. She played Samantha Jones in 'Sex and the City,' earning a Golden Globe and other nominations.
