Lisa Glaser's brief stint in acting during the 1980s was marked by her significant contributions despite its short duration. Her debut role in "Humanoids from the Deep" (1980) showcased her prowess as a scream queen, displaying both her impressive vocal range and willingness to depict nudity. In an isolated beach tent scene, Lisa removed her clothing, revealing full frontal nudity during an interaction with a ventriloquist dummy. As she fled from a creature down the beach, her figure offered a spectacle of bouncing assets, leaving a lasting impression.

Lisa's physique was again prominently featured in "Future Kick" (1991), where she played the role of Junkyard Stripper. Her performance involved a suggestive dance routine on stage while wearing minimal attire—a tube top and thong. She captivated audiences by removing her top and bending backwards, showcasing her breasts in an artistic display.

Her final role was in "Stripped to Kill 2: Live Girls" (1989) as Victoria, where she wore minimal clothing while pole dancing. As the decade concluded, Lisa's acting career drew to a close, but she continued within the entertainment industry, working across various sectors and contributing to charitable causes.

Story

In the Pacific Northwest, a new cannery introduces genetically enhanced salmon into the local waters. However, this scientific experiment goes awry as mysterious, mutated sea creatures begin attacking the male population and raping women in the nearby seaside town. The townspeople must figure out how to combat these horrifying humanoids before they are completely wiped out.

Summary

Humanoids from the Deep is a unique blend of horror and science fiction directed by Barbara Peeters and Jimmy T. Murakami, released in 1980. The film stands out as one of few exploitation films made by women during its time, adding an interesting context to its otherwise typical creature feature narrative. Set against the backdrop of environmental pollution and scientific tampering gone wrong, the movie serves as a cautionary tale about man's meddling with nature.
