Rebecca Marder, born April 10, 1995 in Paris to American musician Marc Marder and French journalist Mathilde de La Bardonnie, is a Franco-American actress. Trained at Conservatoire à rayonnement communal du 13e arrondissement de Paris (2008-2011) and National Theatre of Strasbourg (2014), she began acting at age five with roles in films like 'Ceci est mon corps' (2001) and 'Demandez la permission aux enfants' (2007). In 2015, she joined Comédie-Française as one of its youngest salaried actresses ('pensionnaires'), appearing in classical plays. She resigned from Comédie-Française in 2022. Notable roles include a narrator in 'Irradiated' (2020), lead in 'A Radiant Girl' (2021), young Simone Veil in 'Simone Veil, A Woman of the Century' (2022), and a lawyer in François Ozon's 'The Crime Is Mine' (2023).

Story

In the aftermath of World War I, Antoine, a handsome veteran, returns home ready to resume his life with his wife Marianne.
