Leonie Benesch, born April 22, 1991 in Tübingen, Germany, is an actress of French and Transylvanian descent. She attended Freie Waldorfschule and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Benesch began her career with a notable role in 'The White Ribbon' (2009), winning a Young Artist Award and New Faces Award for her performance as Eva. She has since appeared in prominent productions such as 'Babylon Berlin' (2017, as Greta Overbeck), 'The Crown' (as Princess Cecilie of Greece and Denmark), and 'Around the World in 80 Days' (2020).
