Thalissa Teixeira, born to a British mother and Brazilian father, spent her early childhood in Vitória, Brazil before relocating with her mother to Chalfont St Peter, England at age 8. She joined a local theatre group 'Through the Wardrobe' and later trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, graduating in 2014. After earning an Ian Charleson Award nomination for her theatre work, Teixeira broke into television with the miniseries 'Trigonometry'. In 2021, she was named a Screen International Star of Tomorrow.
