Tessa Lynne Thompson, born October 3, 1983, is an American actress of mixed racial heritage (Afro-Panamanian, white, and Mexican ancestry). Raised between Los Angeles and Brooklyn, New York, she began her professional acting career with the Los Angeles Women's Shakespeare Company while studying at Santa Monica College. Thompson's breakthrough roles include Mississippi Damned (2009) and For Colored Girls (2010). She is known for her role in Westworld (2016), a science-fiction Western series set in a Wild West theme park with human-like androids.

Story
