Imogen Stubbs, born February 20, 1961, in Rothbury, Northumberland, began her acting career at Oxford University playing Irina in Three Sisters. She graduated from RADA with Jane Horrocks and Iain Glen, appearing professionally as Sally Bowles in Cabaret. Her notable stage works include Desdemona in Othello with the Royal Shakespeare Company and Saint Joan at the Strand Theatre.
