Jennifer Jason Leigh, born Jennifer Leigh Morrow on February 5, 1962, began her acting career during the 1970s on television and made her film debut in 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High' (1982). She gained critical acclaim for roles in films like 'Last Exit to Brooklyn' (1989), 'Single White Female' (1992), and 'The Hudsucker Proxy' (1994). Leigh was nominated for a Golden Globe for her portrayal of Dorothy Parker in 'Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle' (1994). She starred in 'Road to Perdition' (2002) and had a recurring role on 'Weeds' (2009–2012). Yvonne McCord, born Carol Heath, was a naive waitress and aspiring singer from Los Angeles who moved to Tokyo after being hired by American agent Cavanaugh and Japanese agent Shiro for a job at the White Orchid nightclub. Upon arrival, she discovered that the club was a front for prostitution controlled by Yakuza. Stranded without money or her passport, McCord wasprotected by Shiro but pressured to cater to clients' propositions.
