Canadian actress and singer Carole Laure was born on August 5, 1948. Throughout much of her career, she collaborated extensively with Lewis Furey, whom she met in 1977 and later married. Notably, she was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2013 for her international contributions as an actress, singer, director, and dancer.

Story

Fabienne, a young woman, is brutally murdered by a group of men in the woods but is brought back to life by Gabriel, an angel who finds her corpse. Gabriel takes Fabienne to his isolated cabin on a mountain where they live together, falling in love. Fabienne has no memory of her past life and learns to adapt to this new existence filled with grace and beauty under Gabriel's care. However, Fabienne begins to long for the city life she cannot remember. One day, she wanders off from their sanctuary and encounters the men who originally took her life.
