Elisabeth Volkmann began her career as a trained singer and occasional sex film actress, notably appearing in 'Hausfrauen-Report' (1971). She then transitioned to theater roles at Folkwangschule in Essen and later performed in Munich, Berlin, and Hamburg. Volkmann gained fame as Jolanthe von Scheußlich in the cult series 'Klimbim'. Her extensive television career includes 'Die rote Meile' (1999) and 'Schloss Pompon Rouge' (1991), along with collaborations with Rainer Werner Fassbinder such as 'The Longing of Veronika Voss' (1982).
