She gained international recognition after moving to the U.S., starring in Martin Scorsese's 'The Wolf of Wall Street' (2013). Since then, she has appeared in several notable films including 'I, Tonya' (2017), 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' (2019), and 'Barbie' (2023). Robbie has been nominated for multiple Academy Awards. She co-founded the production company LuckyChap Entertainment with her husband Tom Ackerley.

Story
Based on Jordan Belfort's autobiography, 'Wolf of Wall Street' follows New York stockbroker Jordan Belfort as he rises to a life of wealth and decadence through corrupt and fraudulent means. Starting in the early 1980s, Belfort begins his career as an honest stockbroker but is fired due to 'Black Monday.' He then turns to selling penny stocks and becomes successful, attracting investors and co-founding a brokerage firm called Stratton Oakmont. Alongside his partner Danny Porush, they defraud investors while living a hedonistic lifestyle filled with drugs, sex, and lavish spending.
