Anastasia Phillips, born and raised in Etobicoke, Ontario, obtained her bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the University of British Columbia. She began her acting career with a role in the TV series MVP (2008), followed by notable appearances as Anne Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank stageplay, Tina on MTV's Skins, and Vera Burr in Bomb Girls. Phillips was nominated for a Gemini Award for her guest role in Murdoch Mysteries in 2010. She also voiced Lo Ridgemount in the animated series Stoked.
