Toni Collette Galafassi, born November 1, 1972, is an Australian actress known for her roles in various films and stage productions. She rose to prominence with her role in 'Muriel's Wedding' (1994), earning a Golden Globe nomination, and gained international recognition for 'The Sixth Sense' (1999). Collette has appeared in diverse genres such as 'Emma', 'Shaft', 'The Hours', and 'Japanese Story'. She has won numerous awards, including a Golden Globe and an Emmy Award for her role in 'United States of Tara'. Collette is married to musician Dave Galafassi and has two children. She also fronts the band Toni Collette & The Finish. In 2017, she co-founded Vocab Films.

Story

Anne and Bob, an affluent American couple, relocate to Paris and host a dinner party to impress their elite friends. In need of an additional guest to maintain balance, they convince their maid, Maria, to pose as a Spanish noblewoman. However, during the evening, Maria becomes smitten with one of the guests, Michael, causing Anne to chase after them around Paris to prevent this unexpected love affair.
