Céline Sallette, born on April 25, 1980, is a French actress known for her role as 'Masha' in Simon Stone's adaptation of Les Trois Soeurs at Odéon-Théâtre de l'Europe in 2017. She gained recognition for her performance in 'House of Tolerance', earning a César Award nomination for Most Promising Actress in 2012. In 2016, she served as a jury member for the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival.

Story

After serving two years at the front during World War I, Paul returns home severely injured and deserted. His wife Louise helps him hide his injuries by dressing him as a woman named Suzanne in the vibrant, post-war Paris of the Roaring Twenties. After being granted an amnesty, Suzanne begins to explore life as a man again.
