Story

Dr. Edward Pretorius and Crawford Tillinghast develop the Resonator, a machine stimulating the sixth sense through the pineal gland. During an experiment, Crawford sees creatures from another dimension and calls Dr. Pretorius. The machine goes out of control; Pretorius is decapitated while refusing to turn it off. Crawford is institutionalized but later freed by Dr. Katherine McMichaels and Detective Bubba Brownlee for further research. When they activate the Resonator, mutated creatures from a parallel universe invade their world, leading to a gore-filled night.
