Full Biography

Ariane Labed, born May 8, 1984 in Athens to French parents, spent her first six years there before moving to Germany for another six years. She then moved to France at age 12. Labed studied theater and filmmaking at Provence University, co-founding the Vasistas theatre company. She debuted as an actress in 'Attenberg' (2010), winning the Volpi Cup for Best Actress at Venice Film Festival. Her notable works include 'Before Midnight', 'The Lobster', 'Assassin's Creed', and the TV series 'Trigonometry'. Labed also wrote and directed her first short film, 'OLLA', which was critically acclaimed.

Story

Lenz returns to Paris after living in Northern England to investigate his mother Madeleine's mysterious disappearance. He enlists the help of his friend Louis. Along the way, Lenz meets Hélène, a German nurse married to Paul who struggles with the loss of her child and copes by hurting herself physically. He also encounters Léna, a singer who is Louis' girlfriend but has feelings for Lenz. Despite her advances, Lenz refuses her, causing jealousy.
