Marimar Vega is a Mexican actress, daughter of Gonzalo Vega and Leonora Sisto, and sister of Zuria Vega. She trained in flamenco dance for twenty years and studied acting at CEFAC, TV Azteca's acting school. Vega debuted on stage at 17 with her father in 'Don Juan Tenorio,' also appearing in 'Perras.' Her film credits include 'Amor, dolor y viceversa' and 'Daniel y Ana,' which premiered at Cannes. On television, she played Fedra in 'Enamórate' (2003), Gina Montero in 'While There Is Life' (2007), Sara Castelán in 'Eternamente tuya' (2009), Elisa Mendoza in 'Emperatriz' (2011), and Alejandra Santacruz in 'Amor captivo' (2012). She starred in 'Las Trapas del Desire' (2013) and 'Sitiados' (2014). Vega had a romance with Alberto Guerra while filming 'Emperatriz'; they are now brother-in-law and sister-in-law due to his marriage to her sister Zuria.
