Rae Dawn Chong, born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in 1961, is an actress of mixed African-American, Native American, Asian, and Scottish-Irish ancestry. She began her acting career with 'Stony Island' (1978), but it was her role in 'Quest for Fire' (1981) that earned her critical acclaim, winning the Genie Award for Best Actress. Throughout the 1980s, she appeared in various films such as 'Beat Street', 'The Color Purple', 'Commando', and 'Soul Man'. She continues to act in movies and television shows.

Story

Detective Jack Valentine, reinstated from his desk job, is tasked with bringing down a dangerous gang within just 10 days.
