Carolyn Dunn, born March 18, 1961, in Whitney Pier, Nova Scotia, Canada, is a Canadian actress known for her role as Sylvie Gerard in the television series Tropical Heat (also known as Sweating Bullets). She started her acting career in the late 1970s with appearances in TV movies and miniseries. Her breakthrough came in 1989 when she was cast in Tropical Heat, which ran for four seasons. Dunn has also acted in other series like The Outer Limits, Street Legal, The X-Files, and films such as Breaking All the Rules. In recent years, she has focused on poetry, publishing two collections: Outfoxing Coyote (2001) and Echolocation: Poems and Stories (2007). She is also a certified holistic health practitioner with an alternative medicine clinic in Whitney Pier.

On the last day of summer at an amusement park, three inept jewel thieves hide their stolen treasure inside a stuffed animal at one of the midway games. Jack, a teenage boy working at the park, and his best friend David cross paths with two girls, also enjoying their final day of summer before they all go their separate ways for college.
