Full Biography

Marina Sylvie Foïs, born January 21, 1970 in Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine), France, is a French actress of Russian, Jewish Egyptian, German, and Italian ancestry. Discovered at age 16 for her comedy work in 'The School for Wives,' she joined the Royal Imperial Green Rabbit Company led by Isabelle Nanty. In 1996, the troupe caught Dominique Farrugia's attention, leading to the show 'La Grosse Émission.' Foïs co-wrote sketches with Pierre-François Martin-Laval and played characters like Sophie Pétoncule and Marie-Mûre. After parting ways in 2001, she became prolific, releasing two to five films annually. Foïs has two sisters (Giulia, a journalist, and Elena, a doctor) and a brother who died in an airplane crash. Story

Constance, a 40-year-old woman who has recently lost her job as a real estate agent in Paris, struggles to find new employment and afford an apartment. Desperate, she reaches out to her former boss in La Rochelle, hoping to regain a position at his agency. Despite his initial willingness to hire her due to her experience, Constance is ultimately passed over for the job in favor of Audrey, a younger woman with less experience but more appealing physical qualities. This rejection drives Constance to take drastic measures.
