Rose Byrne (born Mary Rose Byrne on July 24, 1979) is an Australian actress known for her versatile roles in films and television shows. She began her acting career in Australia during the 1990s, making her screen debut in 'Dallas Doll' (1994). Her breakthrough role came in 'The Goddess of 1967' (2000), earning her the Volpi Cup for Best Actress. She then transitioned to Hollywood with roles like Dormé in 'Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones' (2002), and notable performances in 'Troy' (2004), '28 Weeks Later' (2007), and 'Knowing' (2009).
