Dira Paes, born Ecleidira Maria Fonseca Paes on June 30, 1969 in Abaetetuba, Brazil, is a renowned Brazilian actress and presenter known for her versatility and extensive awards. She has been nominated twelve times for the Grande Otelo award, winning once as best actress in 2013. Additionally, she has won three Guarani Awards, two APCA Awards, two Brazil Quality Awards, an Extra Award, three Kikitos from Gramado Festival, and five Candangos from Brasília Festival.

Story

In the impoverished neighborhood of Recife, various eccentric characters intersect within a seedy bar and a rundown hotel. Dunga, a gay man working at the hotel, harbors an unrequited crush on Wellington, a married butcher with a religious wife named Kika and a mistress, Dayse.
