Full Biography

Asia Argento, born Aria Maria Vittoria Rossa Argento on September 20, 1975, is an Italian actress known for her roles in Italian cinema and international films like 'Trauma' (1993). Daughter of director Dario Argento and actress Daria Nicolodi, she began acting at age nine. She won Italy's prestigious David di Donatello award twice for her acting, first in 1994 for 'Perdiamoci di vista', and again in 1996 for 'Compagna di viaggio'. She also directed several films, including 'Scarlet Diva' (2000) and 'The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things' (2004).

Story

Ryno de Marigny, a penniless aristocrat, has been involved in a passionate affair with Villini for ten years. At the age of 30, he becomes engaged to Hermangarde, a wealthy and titled virgin. Before the wedding, Hermangarde's grandmother questions Ryno about his past relationship with Villini. Through flashbacks, we learn about their tumultuous affair marked by intense passion and jealousy. Despite his professed love for Hermangarde, Ryno struggles with self-loathing due to his lingering feelings for Villini.
