She began her career as a model before making her film debut in Woody Allen's 'Stardust Memories' (1980). Throughout the 1980s, she appeared in various films like 'Irreconcilable Differences', 'King Solomon's Mines', 'Cold Steel', and 'Action Jackson'. Her breakthrough role came with 'Total Recall' (1990), followed by international recognition for her performance in 'Basic Instinct' (1992).
