Story

Recently orphaned heiress Olivia Lawrence meets Timothy Whalen, a young sailing instructor and playboy, on Long Island. Olivia's fortune of $200 million piques Timothy's interest, and he begins pursuing her romantically while also sleeping with his boss' wife for sport. As their relationship deepens, they encounter problems that seem to be overlooked by the local policeman, a childhood friend of Olivia's. The true nature of Timothy's intentions remains ambiguous throughout.
