Christine Boisson, born April 8, 1956, was a French actress known for her role in the film 'Emmanuelle' (1974). She began her career after being discovered by director Just Jaeckin through her modeling agency photo. After Emmanuelle, she continued acting and studying drama. In 1977, Boisson made her stage debut in Chekhov's 'The Seagull'. Notably, she won the Prix Romy Schneider in 1984 for her role in 'Rue Barbare'. Later, in 2005, she starred in a stage production of Botho Strauß' 'Viol', directed by Luc Bondy. Tragically, on October 14, 2010, Boisson attempted suicide.
