She has appeared in various films including 'The Ward' (2010), 'The Rum Diary' (2011), and 'Magic Mike XXL' (2015). Heard became known for playing Atlantean queen Mera in the DC Extended Universe films 'Justice League' (2017), 'Aquaman' (2018), and 'Zack Snyder's Justice League' (2021).
