The Firefly family, infamous serial killers from Ruggsville, Texas, are targeted by Sheriff John Quincy Wydell after his brother, Deputy George Wydell, is killed during a siege on their house. Mother Firefly is arrested, but Otis B. Driftwood and Baby Firefly escape along with Tiny. The siblings reunite at an isolated desert motel owned by Captain Spaulding. There, they kidnap two families of singers to use for their sadistic games while Wydell relentlessly hunts them down, vowing revenge for his brother's death.
