Sônia Maria Campos Braga, born June 8, 1950 in Marília, Brazil, is a renowned Brazilian actress known for her award-winning performances. She gained international recognition with 'Dona Flor and Her Two Husbands' (1976) which earned her a BAFTA nomination. Story
Flor marries Vadinho in a small Brazilian city, but he proves to be irresponsible and squanders her money through gambling. After Vadinho's untimely death, Flor marries Teodoro, the owner of a drugstore, for financial stability. While Flor is content with her new husband, she misses the passion she shared with Vadinho.
