Heidi, a radio DJ at 'Big H Radio', receives a mysterious wooden box containing a vinyl record from an unknown sender who claims to be the 'Lords'. Upon playing it, Heidi experiences a traumatic flashback and the record plays backwards. When Whitey, her colleague, plays the same record, it plays normally and becomes an instant hit with listeners. Soon, another box arrives with free tickets, posters, and records, inviting them to host a gig in Salem, Massachusetts. Unbeknownst to Heidi and her colleagues, the 'Lords of Salem' are returning, seeking revenge on the town that once persecuted them.
