Story

A struggling screenwriter named Marty (Colin Farrell) is stuck writing his script for a film he titled 'Seven Psychopaths'. His friends include Hans (Christopher Walken), a former criminal who claims to have been involved in numerous psychopathic events, and Charlie (Sam Rockwell), an actor and part-time dog thief who uses the stolen dogs as bait for ransom. When Charlie kidnaps a Shih Tzu belonging to gangster Billy Block (Woody Harrelson), the trio becomes entangled in Los Angeles' criminal underworld. Marty's script starts to mirror real-life events, leading to chaos and danger.

Summary

Seven Psychopaths is a 2012 comedy-drama film directed by Martin McDonagh, known for his dark humor and neo-noir style ('In Bruges', 'Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri'). The film blends elements of crime, mystery, and black comedy, set in Los Angeles. It explores themes of creativity, criminality, and the blurred line between fiction and reality through its central character, Marty, a struggling screenwriter whose life starts to mimic his script's violent events.
