Elisha Ann Cuthbert, born on November 30, 1982 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, began her career as a host of the Canadian children's television series 'Popular Mechanics for Kids' from 1997 to 2000. She is known for her roles as Kim Bauer in the Fox action-thriller series '24' (2001–2010, 2014) and Alex Kerkovich in the ABC comedy series 'Happy Endings' (2011–2013). Some of her notable film appearances include 'Airspeed' (1998), 'Love Actually' (2003), 'Old School' (2003), 'The Girl Next Door' (2004), and 'House of Wax' (2005). She also starred in the psychological thriller 'Captivity' (2007).
