While visiting a historic Western town for a photography project, two women, Amy Lindsay and Kim Yates, stumble upon an old-timey saloon where they're accidentally transported back in time to the Old West. Mistaken for new recruits for the local brothel, they meet up with some cowboys but soon find themselves in trouble when their erotic escapades cause a ruckus. The deputy ends up dead, and the women become the prime suspects. To clear their names and avoid being jailed or worse, Amy and Kim must figure out how to get back to their own time.
Timegate: Tales of the Saddle Tramps is an action-comedy science fiction film directed by Dan Golden and released in 1999. The movie follows two modern women who travel back in time to the Old West, where they encounter a series of misadventures involving cowboys and a murder investigation. Despite its unique premise and genre-blending approach, it received mixed reviews due to its low-budget production and lack of depth in character development.
