Alexis Bledel, born Kimberly Alexis Bledel on September 16, 1981, is an American actress and model known for her role as Rory Gilmore in 'Gilmore Girls' (2000–2007), which she reprised in the Netflix miniseries 'Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life' (2016). She also played Emily Malek in 'The Handmaid's Tale' (2017–2021) and had a recurring role in 'Mad Men' in 2012. Bledel's film credits include 'Tuck Everlasting' (2002), 'Sin City' (2005), 'The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants' (2005) and its sequel, and 'Post Grad' (2009). She has been nominated for various awards, including Satellite, Teen Choice, Young Artist, Primetime Emmy, and Screen Actors Guild Awards, winning a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series.
