Full Biography

Rachel Griffiths AM (born 18 December 1968) is an Australian actress known for her roles in 'Muriel's Wedding' and 'Hilary and Jackie'. She won critical acclaim for portraying Brenda Chenowith in 'Six Feet Under' and Sarah Walker Laurent in 'Brothers & Sisters', earning her a Golden Globe Award, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and three Australian Film Institute Awards. After studying philosophy at Melbourne University and attending Victoria School of the Arts drama department, Griffiths began her career with theater companies before gaining recognition for writing and performing in the short film 'Barbie Gets Hip'. She went on to appear in various films and TV shows, including 'My Best Friend's Wedding', before making her mark in American television with 'Six Feet Under'.

Story
