She suffered from retrograde amnesia after a severe head injury as a youth but went on to have an extensive acting career in Hollywood. Known as the 'Queen of B-movies', she appeared in over 100 films. Strain was Penthouse Pet of the Month for June 1991 and Pet of the Year in 1993. She married Kevin Eastman, co-creator of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, in 1995; they had one son before divorcing in 2006.
