Terri Welles, an American actress and adult model, gained prominence after appearing on the cover of Playboy's May 1980 issue as a flight attendant, followed by a centerfold appearance in December 1980. She was named Playmate of the Year for 1981. Welles' original pictorial was photographed by Richard Fegley. Notably, she inspired the 'Bobo Weller' character in the film Star 80.
