Full Biography
Holly Hollywood was born William Holly Johnson on February 9, 1960 in Liverpool, England. Before gaining fame as the lead vocalist of Frankie Goes to Hollywood in the mid-1980s, he played bass for Big in Japan in the late 1970s. After leaving Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Johnson embarked on a successful solo career with his debut album 'Blast' reaching number one in the UK albums chart in 1989, featuring hit singles like 'Love Train' and 'Americanos'. Throughout the 1990s, he pursued careers in writing, painting, and printmaking. His career spanned from 2000 to 2008.
