Eva Lyberten, born Herminia Benito on December 20, 1958 in Barcelona, Spain, began her acting career at age 15 when she studied dramatic art and dance. She appeared in Spanish television programs like 'The Saga of the Rius' and supporting roles in films shot in Barcelona during the mid-70s. After starring in 'La ciutat cremada' (1976), Lyberten moved to Ibiza. Upon her return, she became a vedette for the Music-hall show 'Crazy Horse', Spain's prominent erotic spectacle during its democratic transition. She later acted in erotic films and movies rated 'S'. In the mid-80s, seeking more substantial roles, she starred as Bridget in Fernando Trueba's 'Sal Gorda' (1984). Her film appearances subsequently declined.
