Julian Wells was born and raised in Birmingham, Michigan after being born in San Francisco, California. She attended Marian High School before graduating with a drama major from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 1998. Wells began her career with commercials, bit parts on TV shows like The Sopranos and Entourage, and worked as a body double for stars such as Kim Cattrall. Between 2001 and 2010, she appeared in numerous B movies and soft erotic films under the name Julian Wells for Seduction Cinema. Afterward, using the name Suzy McCoppin, she covered nightlife for celebrity magazines like Life & Style and served as a Los Angeles correspondent for British publications such as The Daily Mail and The Sun. In 2008, she became a nightlife and sex columnist for Playboy Magazine, a comedic online personality, and Sirius radio host. She also wrote articles for Popdust and hosted the podcast 'Under Cover With Suzy McCoppin'. In 2014, co-authored with Allison Swan, Wells published 'KissnTell', intended to be adapted into an E! scripted television series.
