Synopsis
The movie begins with Juliet Capulet being turned into a vampire after her death at the hands of Romeo Montague, as depicted in Shakespeare's tragedy. Eight hundred years later, Juliet lives a solitary life, numbed by the loss of her true love and immortality. The story takes an unexpected turn when she meets a young woman who captures her heart again. This encounter teaches Juliet that even after centuries of existence, love and loss are inevitable parts of life, and that a life without love is no life at all.
