Synopsis
In an ancient past where humans and dinosaurs coexist, a small tribe prepares to sacrifice Sanna, a blonde woman, to their sun god in hopes of protection from deadly creatures. During the ceremony, a freak storm interrupts, allowing Sanna to escape. Tara, a young man from another tribe, saves her and they flee together. As they journey for safety, they encounter rival tribes, dangerous prehistoric beasts like pterodactyls and man-eating plants, quicksand, and even a tsunami. Along the way, Sanna's status as a sacrifice mark makes her a target for both humans and dinosaurs.

Directed by Val Guest in 1970, 'When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth' is an adventure fantasy film set in a prehistoric world where humans live alongside dinosaurs.
