Synopsis
The movie 'Wasp Network' begins in Havana, Cuba in 1990 with René González, an airplane pilot, suddenly fleeing his country and leaving behind his wife Olga and daughter Irma. He starts a new life in Miami where he joins an anti-Castro organization.

Directed by Olivier Assayas, 'Wasp Network' is a 2019 film that explores the story of René González, a Cuban pilot who defected to the U.S. and became involved with an anti-Castro group in Miami. The movie is set against the backdrop of Cuban politics during the late 1980s and early 1990s.
