Synopsis
In 'Waking the Dead', a political drama set in the late 1970s and early 1980s, a congressional candidate named John Doe experiences a deeply unsettling event. His fiancée, Laura, dies suddenly in a car accident, leaving him heartbroken and alone. Years later, while campaigning for election in New York City, John encounters what appears to be an apparition of Laura at a political rally.
